As a Transport Claims Assistant, you’ll be the main point of contact for managing transport-related claims. Whether it’s a delayed delivery or vehicle damage, you’ll handle every case with a calm, analytical mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the transport claims process, from initiation to resolution.
- Investigate damages, delays, or lost vehicles with accuracy and fairness.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, insurers, and internal teams to collect documentation.
- Negotiate fair settlements and ensure timely resolutions.
- Maintain thorough records and report trends to support operational improvements.
- Be an ambassador for transparency, professionalism, and partnership.
competências
What You Bring:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in claims handling, preferably in logistics or transport.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Structured and calm under pressure.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with transport documentation and freight regulations (a plus).
- Self-motivated and confident managing multiple cases simultaneously.
- Fluency in English (other European languages are a bonus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

- Base salary: €1,800 gross/month
- Meal allowance: €6 per working day
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
