Experience
Previous experience working in industrial operational environments, such as:
o Oil & Gas / Refineries
o Power Generation
o Transmission & Distribution / Electrical Substations
o Manufacturing
o Water Utilities
o Chemicals
o Mining
Strong understanding of industrial cybersecurity concepts, including:
o Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture (PERA / Purdue Model)
o Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
o Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
Working knowledge of one or more of:
o IEC 62443
o NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
o NIST SP 800-82
o C2M2 (Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model)
o ISA/IEC 62443
o CIS Controls (OT context)
o MITRE ATT&CK for ICS
Understanding of industrial networking concepts and protocols including several of the
following:
o Modbus TCP/IP
o Modbus RTU
o DNP3
o OPC Classic / OPC-UA
Experience with one or more OT security platforms such as:
o Nozomi Networks
o Claroty
o Dragos
o Industrial Defender
o Armis
o TXOne Networks
Preferred Qualifications
One or more of the following would be an advantage:
Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial
Automation, Telecommunications, or related field.
Industry certifications such as:
o GICSP
o GRID
o ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert
o CISSP
o CISM
o Security+
o CCNA / CCNP
Experience supporting digital transformation or Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Experience with cloud-connected industrial environments.
Knowledge of Zero Trust applied to OT.
Familiarity with industrial safety standards and functional safety (IEC 61511 / IEC
61508).
