In partnership with a multinational client, we are recruiting an analytical and results-driven professional to take on the challenge of Controller.
...To monitor and control the compliance of all purchased materials with the purchasing procedure;
To check the accuracy of the purchasing entry records of the stores/kitchen and to check the compliance of MC Stock entries with the procedure (name, unit, warehouse, quantity, amount);
To follow and control that the orders of the store and warehouse are placed correctly;
To control costs in stores/kitchen and warehouse products and to report irrational costs;
To control the correct and on-site use of all materials used in the store and to prepare a report;
To record all product recipes in the system correctly and to ensure continuous control;
To report the prescriptions to the management and to determine the sales prices;
To prepare a monthly and annual cost report;
Transmitting inventory difference reports to the stores at the end of the month and ensuring that the differences are audited;
To identify warehouse inventory differences and investigate their causes;
Providing MC, Inventory and Order Management training to store managers;
To account for warehouse entries and exits daily;
To control the price movements of the purchased materials, and to report unusual movements;
To follow the sales progress of the materials offered for sale and to report the defects;
Preparing food and beverage counts for accounting records, etc. to fulfill duties and operations;
To ensure product transfers between stores;
Support the CEO or executive team’s vision and process ideals;
Make yearly forecast for each store and make sure all teams are focused on achieving results;
Having a keen eye on budget and budgetary changes;
Seek for new profitable potential locations, present BP to CEO or executive for approval;
Build relationships with customers and deliver excellent customer service by engaging and connecting with them and responding to their needs;
Work closely with Franchisor and follow their direction and establish good relationship;
Make sure all orders from Franchisors are requested on time;
Support entire team and ensure the required corporate training is delivered to enable them to be accountable for delivering excellent customer service and satisfaction;
Develop positive relationships with the team by understanding and addressing individual motivation needs and concerns, providing coaching and direction to maximise their potential;
Plan and execute team training, challenging the managers and Baristas to deliver and exceed company values;
Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate appropriate responsibilities such as training advocates and practices to the team;
Approve recruitment needs suggested by area manager and make sure HR department is finalized for hiring process;
Appraise and counsel your team on their performance and their promotion;
Monitor and coach standards;
Effective time management to constantly monitor store staffing levels;
Manages with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote the teams for company culture and values, demonstrating a calm exterior during periods of high volume or unusual events;
Reinforce that area managers are following operational policies and procedures, including cash handling, security, health and safety, and hygiene, follow all cash management and cash register policy duties, and ensure proper cash management practices are followed by the entire team;
Follow operational policies and procedures, health and safety and hygiene for kitchen ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed by kitchen staff according to local rules and regulations;
Make sure kitchen staff follows all recipes given by Franchisor;
Ensure all equipment are functioning properly both store and kitchen and make sure routine maintenance is applied;
Overwatch stock control and inventory to make sure responsible team members follow procedures and if necessary, make an action plan regarding it;
Work closely with the marketing team, decide their proposed marketing plan for business needs as per operation feedback according to customer needs or recommendations which need to fit Franchisor policy;
Plan & execute the seasonal & promotional marketing calendar ensuring the whole team are fully aware of the planned changes in a timely manner;
Continually identify quality and service improvements and ensure these are integrated into future activities, discussing and actively encouraging the team to regularly diagnose customer’s needs and influence decisions to maximise value for customers and the business;
Establishing good working relationships internally and externally, networking within the community to build strong relationships and promote company interests and values.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related academic background;
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in similar roles, such as Operational Cost Controller, Financial Controller, or Operations Manager;
Fluent in English, both written and spoken (additional languages may be a plus);
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with different teams, franchisors, and stakeholders;
Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities, with a passion for developing and motivating team members;
High level of integrity, honesty, and accountability, with a strong focus on company values;
Ability to thrive under pressure, manage time effectively, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor during high-volume periods or unusual events;
Strategic thinking with a business-oriented mindset, capable of driving profitability and operational improvements.
