Manage, maintain, and optimize the primary storage infrastructure (SAN) to ensure high performance and availability for all critical applications and servers;
Administer the enterprise backup environment (e.g., Commvault and backend systems like DELL Datadomain/Fujitsu Eternus), including policy configuration, daily monitoring, and troubleshooting failures;
Design, implement, and rigorously test Disaster Recovery plans to guarantee the swift and complete restoration of critical data and systems (RTO/RPO adherence);
Utilize Bash/Python scripting to automate routine operational tasks, reporting, and monitoring workflows, driving efficiency within the data protection domain;
Maintain and support the underlying operating systems (RHEL/Ubuntu/Windows Server) connected to the storage and backup infrastructure;
Possess the capacity to specify and deliver production-ready architectures and designs for new storage and data protection solutions.
Ensure compliance with data retention policies, security standards, and auditing requirements for all backup data.

Operating systems (RHEL based, Ubuntu, Windows Server) system administration;
