Define sourcing and supplier strategy aligned with the company’s strategy and benchmarking with the company Purchasing Community;
Manage daily activity and develop buyer(s), empowering and delegating;
Manage and optimize supplier database, developing new suppliers when necessary;
Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers;
Negotiate the terms & conditions of contracts, agreements or frame agreements;
Balance tactical and execution tasks with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction;
Seek market innovation aligned with the company's strategy;
Foster relationship with suppliers to reduce costs, optimize processes, improve efficiency (on time deliveries and consignment stock), exchange market information and seek innovation;
Build deeper knowledge of key supplier’s manufacturing process to mitigate the risk;
Interact with internal departments to obtain the needs and the best process output;
Actively participate in supplier performance assessment;
Ensure purchasing procedure/policies are followed;
Ensure that all people involved in projects are aligned and updated.

Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics or Engineering;
At least 5 years of Purchasing experience;
Preferable: experience in the purchasing of indirects (Capex, Opex and Overheads) in the food industry and services;
Qualification or knowledge needed to the function:
English is mandatory
