Leadership & Strategy: 

• Define the long-term platform and corporate technology roadmap in alignment technical and business objectives.


• Drive the evolution of a secure, scalable, and automated global technology ecosystem supporting both customer-facing and internal systems.


• Partner with product, engineering, and operations leaders to ensure seamless integration between infrastructure and application layers.


• Foster a culture of reliability, innovation, and continuous improvement within platform engineering and operations teams.

Infrastructure & Operations:

• Oversee architecture, deployment, and optimization of hybrid environments across Cloud (AWS) and co-located data centers.


• Lead infrastructure engineering and systems operations to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.


• Develop and enforce frameworks for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), automation, and observability, utilizing technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, and Grafana.


• Direct Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives focused on proactive monitoring, incident management, and continuous delivery.

Security, Compliance & Governance:

• Establish and maintain robust security and compliance standards (PCI, GDPR, CCPA) across all systems and services.


• Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, and backup strategies to ensure operational resilience.


• Partner with Security and IT teams to strengthen identity management, network protection, and data privacy practices.

Innovation & Optimization:

• Identify and implement new technologies that improve scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.


• Develop real-time dashboards and telemetry to monitor system health, reliability, and utilization.


• Lead cloud cost optimization and vendor management initiatives.


• Drive automation across operations to streamline deployments and reduce manual overhead.

Team Leadership:

• Build and lead a high-performing platform engineering and operations organization.


• Recruit, mentor, and develop team members, fostering growth, ownership, and technical excellence.


• Promote cross-functional collaboration and effective communication between infrastructure, software engineering, and business stakeholders.

• 10+ years of experience leading infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering teams in high-scale SaaS or e-commerce environments.


• Strong expertise with AWS and hybrid cloud environments.


• Proven track record implementing automation, observability, and orchestration frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD).


• In-depth understanding of networking (DNS, routing, load balancing, VPC design, firewalls).


• Demonstrated success managing large-scale, secure, and compliant infrastructure environments.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on metrics-driven performance.
