Airframe Services (SR) is a Business Line within Airbus Customer Services (S), with a focus on chargeable optional modifications and embodiment services for in-service aircraft
As the jobholder, you will join the Lifecycle and Fleet Technical management programme team (SRAO) in the Airframe Services organization. You will responsible to define and deliver Aircraft Livery Services on cost, schedule and quality ensuring customer satisfaction. Such services are delivered by leading and coordinating partners, suppliers or other service providers.
Accountabilities/ Major end results:
● Achieve project objectives to customer satisfaction in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations
● Define, implement and drive a project team/organization all along the project phases, including people coming from other functions (matrix organizations)
● Ensure active risk and opportunity and contract (internal or external) management
● Ensure effective management of partners and suppliers
● Accountable for the on time, on cost, on quality delivery of the project to the Customer
● Manages a portfolio of small projects in front of Customer from deal signature until deal closure (including invoicing) and lessons learnt
● Ensure effective integration of lessons learnt
● Providing a factual analysis of any Customer, Vendor or third party claims relating to projects under the jobholder’s leadership
Key responsibilities include:
● During the business acquisition phase (OFFER phase)
o Contribute on a case by case basis to deliver ROM in a timely manner under the lead of the Offer Manager
o Perform the BCS validation with HO Program depending on deal value
o Support Letter Agreement preparation and negotiation with customer
● During the PROJECT LAUNCH phase, and up to the delivery to the customer
o Defines project milestones and quickly reacts to any financial, technical, production, certification, supply chain or customer change in order to protect the schedule agreed with the customers (or to escalate/ renegotiate a new delivery planning) and the revenues/EBIT planned in the AOP
o Gives visibility to all project members/ stakeholders according to the project progress
o Agree on recovery action plan in case of unscheduled event or acceptable request evolution
o Ensure and monitor the implementation and adherence to the contracts with internal and external service providers (mostly SB and kits providers) taking into consideration time, costs and quality. Confirm the acceptance of the works at completion, authorizing payment of the various suppliers involved (good receipt in SAP)
o Responsible for the financial and industrial performance of the contract, controlling the costs engaged in his/her perimeter versus AOP and in coordination with SRA program organization. Present a status to
management on a monthly basis
o Responsible to maintain high level of customer satisfaction as per Airbus standard
o Perform a deal closure, collecting customer feedback, ensuring Lessons Learnt are well captured and feedback loop to the Offer Managers community is carried out
In order to efficiently carry out his/her role, the jobholder is required to maintain a good level of product technical knowledge and follow Airbus project management process and practices.
